Hilton becomes JetBlue’s first partner for loyalty program

Hilton has recently announced their newest partnership with the airline JetBlue, which will open up multiple new doorways for travelers all around the world. The new customer loyalty program will be called “TrueBlue” and starting mid-April members will have the opportunity to earn points towards free stays at more than 3,500 Hilton vacation timeshares across the world. The two companies have a great vision for travelers, wanting to make sure they get the most for their money.
Travelers enrolled in the HHonors and TrueBlue programs will now be able to earn HHonors points and one TrueBlue point for every $2 spent at any Hilton Worldwide resort. Also, HHonors members have the choice to convert their accrued points to TrueBlue, to gain different types of perks. Now through July 15th, travelers enrolled in the HHonors program will be able to convert points at a lower rate of 5,000 HHonors points for 500 TrueBlue points.
To get things started right, Hilton is offering a Double Points promotion for TrueBlue members, where every registered stay between April 6th and July 15th, 2010, members will earn one TrueBlue Point for every $1.00 spent. “Partnering with a powerhouse hotel-loyalty program like Hilton HHonors is an ideal way to build on our newly re-launched TrueBlue program, offering our members even more quality and rewarding travel experiences.” said Dave Canty, the Director of Loyalty Marketing for JetBlue. With plans to team up with many other well-named companies, these two companies are definitely expanding options for travelers wanting to get the most out of their getaway.
